92.9 Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 I expect this is a stupid question, but can you fit a full soft top to a high-capacity pick up? Obviously there is a width difference, and of course the gap between the cab and the pick-up section, but nevertheless I would be interested to know if a soft top exists for this type of vehicle. 92.9 Posted June 17, 2009 Author Share Posted June 17, 2009 Thank you both. I hadn't seen the Lara Croft Defender, but have just looked it up on Google. It looks good, but not quite what I had in mind! I like the Series doors idea though, to get the removable door tops. What I had in mind was just a standard type full soft top. I know you can get soft tops for the High Capacity pick up bed, so maybe one could be adapted to incorporate a truck cab soft top. Since I last posted I did find a very nice one-off conversion on East Coast Rover's website. It's a separate truck cab soft top and rear High Capacity 3/4 soft top. Not quite what I was thinking of, but looks really nice. It has the Series doors to get removable door tops as well, which looks quite good with the roof off.
