Quagmire
Does anyone know of a supplier where i can get hold of some of the three pin connectors for EDIS coilpacks? Have just spent the last 1/2hr googling and have only found places in the states... Many Thanks *edit- is this them? steve_d
It may be the right one but difficult to tell just from a pic. What's wrong with getting them from a car breakers along with a decent length pigtail which you can graft into your wiring? Avoid the ones from the states. They are the same pin configuration but do not have weather seals like the UK/Europe ones do. Steve

Hybrid_From_Hell
I bought the plugs pins and seals new, can't remember who from, but they are all listed inc part numbers, phone numbers etc in prob the Megajolt thread vs the Megasquirt thread, have a search, and not much money. I think the link to the Megajolt thread (waterproof ing a V8) is in the Meagsquirt A-Z thread :0 These are the genuine OEM plug suppliers I tracked down Nige

ThreeSheds
thanks for that- will have a look through the thread when I'm at work tomorrow When you find it can you post back here please? Although I used connectors from a scrappy (Mondeo) which are ok, they only had a few inches of pigtail which meant additional connections, and since each additional connection is a weakness it would be nice to be rid of them.. Quagmire
Found it! Page 2 of this thread: Another MS/MJ thread Whilst I'm at it :Ford VR Sensor I used a Ford 6740816 "Sensor Crankshaft" £10 new genuine ford This has a nice single hole for clamping mounting, and for the money I couldn't be A***d to get one off the scrappies as on some fords (mondeos etc) they are in a dreadfull place for access ! ................and also the plugs for the coil packs (found by Jon W), then : I needed 2x Ford Zetec 'coil plugs' for the V8 installation, I think the less joints the better, so if you want new plugs and pins etc here's where : Webcon UK Ltd - 01932 787100 - They do 'mail order' 1 of - 9990241600 Connector 3 way Ign Coil Zetec 2 of - 9990241700 Terminal 0.5 - 1.0 1 of - 9990241800 Terminal 1.5 - 2.0 3 of - Sealer Grommet brown Nige
