Simon Smith
Times are hard, and I need new rear shocks for the 110 as one of them has sprung a leak. What are good budget shocks? Are the Britpat Super Gaz ones any good or are they of the usual Britpart quality. I don't do much off roading anymore as I do all that on 2 wheels, but I do occasionally tow a 2 tonne trailer. Sorry if this has been done to death, but I tried the search button, and it seems to find everything except what I search for.
mike4444244
Hi Monroe or procomp are cheap and ok in my experience, having said that, it isn't much more expensive to get decarbon etc instead. Mike
NickHodgson
There are often genuine LR shocks on ebay for cheap money
PaulN
AS above! I've fitted Monroe gas shocks to my Disco (Std Height - all 4 corners) and really pleased with handling improvement.. Pick a make and shop around for the best deal. I got mine in the end from a local motor factors and quoted the internet prices for them to match. Keep an eye on the forum for sale area too. I agree with you point about the search facility!
Les Henson
Monroe are good and have been around for ages and are quite cheap. Les.
