Night Train
I suppose someone who doesn't have a screen could buy it, install it and then make a fraudulent claim on their insurance for a replacement screen.
landroversforever
offroader only? anyway, isnt the damage out of the area thats 'tested' with the MOT?
ThreeSheds
anyway, isnt the damage out of the area thats 'tested' with the MOT? The damage is outside the MoT tested area, but (based on a few years of back-street-bodging work) your chances of getting it fitted, or even home, without that crack going right across the screen, are about zero. Perhaps the vendor doesn't realise the above and genuinely thinks that it might be some use to someone with a worse screen?
