Paul64
Hi, Just been looking at some expedition photos in the desert. Can anyone identify what this is? I also like the look of this :-) Cheers, Paul
mad_pete
it's a remote tyre inflation/deflation system surely ?

LandyManLuke
yup, looks like a pretty horrible (vulnerable) CTIS set up.
mad_pete
How many trees to catch on are there in the desert ?
Paul64
I thought it had something to do with that, but looked a bit elaborate for inflating and deflating. Yes, that little plastic coupler looks a bit vulnerable. I think rocks would be more of a danger to that system in the desert :-)

webbsite
The first shots are definitely LC80 (toyota six stud)but the last one looks like a LC100 coz its independant on the front suspension.
missingsid
It may look dodgy but it seems to be used for dune bashing where the biggest problem is either getting stuck or pulling a low inflated tyre off the rim. No trees or rocks, just plenty of sand. This kit should help with both problems. Marc.
