welling4x4
Today I went to West Harptree for the AWDC 4x4 challenge. Their was only 15 motors their which was a bit of a shame BUT. the reason for this post is to ask the guy's & girls about the use of hydraulic suspension. their was about 8 or maybe 9 vehicles with this set up on & none had springs just these shocks, How do they work What is the pro's & con's of these May be thinking of these also what sort of money are they to buy ???????????? landroversforever
I think that what you are refering too are Air Shocks... The vehicle is suspended on a presurised gas.

T1G UP
excellent thread on Fox air shocks! http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/PR-Airshox/index.html great off road, not so sure about on a heavy LR on road.

roguevogue
Thanks chaps. bit out of my price range. By the time you buy decent shocks and springs to give you that much travel, Fox airshox are a bargain, not least because they weigh less than a normal shock on it's own.
