MogLite
I need to get one of these lip type oil seals for my PTO. Double lip would be useful. Does anyone know who will sell such a thing mail-order without a trade account/minimum order ? I was hoping these people would be ideal Simply bearings but they don't list anything with the correct ID I need 48mm ID, OD can be anywhere from 58mm to 70mm, any thickness within reason. darthdicky
Andy, not sure which part these are for but I know Fruity got hold of the lower seals very cheaply a while ago. Think he's just moved and might not have net access yet so he might be hard to get hold of. Failing that, Phil Gordon will have them or be able to get them. Richard Its not a stock PTO part alas - I've got a rear facing hydraulic PTO, and I'm just using it a a mechanical PTO, so I need a seal to sort out where the pump was. Jon White
RS list 48x62x8mm as part no 211-9207 £1.62 ea +vat but you've got to order 5! I tend to order seals and bearings from RS where i can as they're far cheaper than any of the bearing specialists. Cheers Jon
Les Henson
If I need one-off oil seals I go to Thamesdown Bearings here in Swindon. They do trade and private sales, and first class. They have a website:- http://www.bfpa.co.uk/data/detailresult.as...ssCompRef=28708 Les.

Cheers Jon Nice one Jon. I was planning to buy 2 or 3 so I've got a spares. So 5 it is, at that price its okay. I'll add a couple of wiring bits I need onto the order to take the sting out of the postage. Ta
