Safari snorkel fitment

Recommended Posts

I think it probably would because from memory the Puma version of the Safari just goes on the outside of the wing like all the crappy snorkels, and is therefore not likely to be very waterproof. My advice would be to get a proper 300Tdi Safari which is much better and can be made 100% waterproof with relatively little work.

See my pictures here http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=78&st=20 for how and why

Possibly also because with the ECU in the engine bay, deep wading and Pumas are not something that will go together :)

The standard intake plumbing on a Puma is in no way waterproof, but it isn't really a problem anyway due to the location of the electrickery. Shame really - it's about the only thing I really don't like about the Puma.
