Jimmy Two-Jacks
Sounds daft but does anyone know the rough weight of a 90 rolling chassis with standard wheels and td5 axles but no body bits????
FridgeFreezer
Definitely more than 250kg with axles & wheels & tyres. Does it have engine & box or is it just chassis & axles & wheels?
will4x4
as a guesstimate i would say the following standard wheels and tyre would be say - 90kgs Chassie - not really sure - maybe 150kgs 2 x axles complete i reckon - 140kgs so closer to 380kgs
will4x4
with arms and trailing arms etc and all the bits shocks springs etc must be 480kgs

Retroanaconda
I just weighed in a heavily rusted Series III 88" chassis, minus the rear crossmember, plus the springs and brake drums. It came to 240kg. So I'd say a complete rolling chassis (with steel throughout, rather than gaping holes where steel used to be) with axles/wheels et. all would be more. marsie
A galvanised 90 chassis new weighs 190kgs so you will definately be over 250 with the axles Paul
Jimmy Two-Jacks
Well ,I can tell you its under 500kgs as the tailboard lifted it no problem. Thanks for ther input
