errol209
Just wondering how i go about inserting an internet link within a post. Also, how to save that link as another name so that its not sentences long if you know what i mean... Just click the little chain icon (to the right of the smiley face) at the top of the "Replying to...". You'll get a box with spaces for URL (like "http://www.lr4x4.com") and Link Text (like "The best 4xForumxFar"). The finished item looks like this: The best 4xForumxFar

western
or use square brackets put [ url= in front of the website address then ] type your title in here & add a [/ then url ] but without the spaces
landmannnn
Or even easier just copy and paste the url like I just done http://www.google.com it automatically creates a link (in firefox anyway, not sure about microsoft etc)
elbekko
Just pasting in the URL generally works (in all browsers, it's the forum software that does this), but some puntuation in URLs can throw it off. If you want to keep it simple, just do it as in the screenshot posted above. If you want to be quick about it, type it out, like so: Text of link
