zim
Hello, I need to restock my heatshrink box. So wondering where the cheapest place to get it is ? I typed "heatshrink" into ebay and got c. 3000 items LOL. I've used polevolt before but was wondering if anybody could recommend a cheaper place ? Cheers Gordon Edit : something along these lines - http://shop.ebay.co.uk/u-supplies/m.html?_nkw=heatshrink+&_sacat=0&_odkw=heatshrink+black&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313
crclifford
The ebay shop is cheaper than maplins. My other suggestions would be vehicle wiring products (VWP)VWP
MrKev
how about: http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/search/results.jsp?N=411+1003810&isGoback=false ?
LandyManLuke
What sort of heatshrink are you after? The quality varies hugely, then there's the option of with/without glue, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1 etc?
zim
For using in car electrics (looms etc). Without glue is fine for financial reasons G

FridgeFreezer
CPC, Farnell, RS all sell it either on rolls or in party selection packs. I try to go for 3:1 ratio as it makes life easier. RS sell pre-cut ~50mm lengths of 3:1 glue-lined stuff which is my toolbox favourite, yes it costs several pence more but it makes a really good joint. Have a gander in CPC's bargain corner, they clear out a lot of stuff cheap and they did have a pile of assorted heat shrinks in there. Superpants
G&M tools had full reels of raychem stuff very cheaply recently- the cheapest I have seen for a long time. Worth giving them a call.

SeriesEwan
Again I would go for CPC RS or farnell, might be worth trying autosparks ( website ) too
