cookie64
spot on western it is an old raf base thats being demolished which is surly a crime in itself. buildings dating from before ww1 untill about 2000 destroyed , alot of history lost. altho a lot of fun (sometimes) lol
bobed90
Is that Raf Syerston or Newton by any chance? looks like the new A46 road being put in. Both of these site have lost a lot of very nice buildings recently. Unfortunate place to park, did it take long to get it back on its wheels? nicks90
i would have tempted to build a little ramp for the left hand wheels and given it some 'beans' to clear the hole.
landroversforever
We have these duct type things all over site at work. (old RAF Culham site). A contractor put a dumper truck through one a couple of months ago. Parked on it while being filled was just asking for trouble!
Disco-Ron
I think i;'d have used one of the big slews in the background with a strop onto the front bumper and just lifted it level... but then, maybe you weren't able to use the digger etc etc..... G Nope, over 25 years of working on M.O.D airfields, those ducts house heating & water pipes from a central or remote boiler house.
