Unless you have a proper air-fed mask I'd stay away from 2-pack paints. After all it's the car you want to put the paint on, not the inside of your lungs...

I bought a tin of Bronze Green from Turners Trade Paints in Cannock, Staffs. Believe it's coach enamel, or something like that. It went on fine with a brush anyway :P

When I come to re-paint fully later this year I will use a roller for a slightly better finish, as I don't have the spraying equipment.

I buy my two pack from Auto Colour Match in Banbury, 01295 256873. I'm fairly sure he would post. I seem to remember it's about £20 a litre plus VAT. You will need hardner and thinners too unless your friend is supplying these.

If your friend has access to an airfed mask I wouldn't consider using anything else.

Yes Turners will post, they did to me.

By all means if you have a friend with the facilities then use 2-pack, in which case your local trade auto paints supplier can help. But he'll need an air fed mask as above, and you'll have to ensure that no vapours find their way over to your neighbours and choke their dog/children. Personally I'd go with the synthetic stuff :)
