stretch121
yes mate, if you just mean put the 16 rims on no prob, thats what mine is running but not sure on the tyre size you have, you may need to change them.....could be wrong on that bit
western
you'll definitly need new tyres to fit the 16 inch rims, as the 18's will just fall off. I'll let you work out why

I'll let you work out why The tyres won't necessarily fall off but all the air will fall out... Dorset Cocker
What is your reason for changing from 18" to 16"? I was going to do it about a year ago with ours as I wanted to put A/T tyres on it but in the end I just put General Grabber AT2s on the 18" rims. BogMonster
there are several reasons why you might want 16s - - better choice of AT and MT tyres - tyres are usually cheaper - 18in tyres are bad for tramlining in grooves in the road, 16s are much better - 16in tyres give a much better ride on rough surfaces People usually upgrade to 18s for the "looks" (personally I think low profile tyres look wrong on any 4x4 but that's just me, the BMW X5s getting around now on rubber bands look frankly ridiculous) and a probably incorrect perception that low profile tyres equal much better handling. Having driven quite a few Discoverys in the course of my last job I don't think the tyre diameter makes any difference - and I still prefer the ride/handling of my D2 to any I've driven with either 18s or ACE (and in many cases both). I went from 18" rims to 16" rims, best 'mod' you can do.
Orgasmic Farmer
And if you ever head over to North Africa you will be glad you have 16" rims as the back-street tyre fixers are unable to deal with anything bigger!
