What type of LPG system do you have on it. Some start on petrol and then switch to LPG once the engine is warm. It could be cutting out when switching to petrol.

If you are starting on LPG, it there coolant getting to the convertor. It could be freezing up which is causing it to stop.

If you are running on petrol, as it sounds like from wet plugs, it could well be your coolant temp sender, you can test the values for this using the diagnostics in the techinical archive on here :)

sorry guy's forgot to let you know LPG been fitted back into car but not used as tank empty , all connected up but no gas .LPG from tingly tech, but yes it can start from gas as well as petrol but none in system so only using petrol at the moment . could it be somthing to do with pump , as its the only thing that's been changed , it run's all time when engine on but my thought for what it's worth was fuel not pressurized enough or am on the wrong TRACK location is lockerbie south scotland

Tune resistor tells the ECU what flavour vehicle it's in - with/without cats/lambda sensors, UK, EU, US or "Rest of world" spec tune, etc.

Only difference it could make that'd matter is if you ran a non-cat tune with cats you might damage them/fail the MOT, likewise if you run a cat tune with no lambda sensors fitted it might get its knickers in a twist.

If it's been stood for 5 years all sorts could have gone titsup, fuel pressure regulator stuck, injector(s) stuck open/closed/half-way/blocked, etc.

There is a diagnostics guide in the technical archive, might be worth working through that methodically (don't skip steps assuming that bit is OK), gives you all the sensor values etc., if you work through it then come back when you hit a problem or get to the end and it still doesn't work then at least you've covered the basics.

You LPG system should have one or two relays fitted that switch the signal on or off to the fuel injectors when on LPG. As you are only running on petrol at the moment, try fining the relays and bi-pass them to see if they are faulty and causing an issue or whether the LPG system is switching off the injectors when you don't want it to.

hi guy's thank's very much for your help , i THINK i have found the problem broken wire on fuel temp sensor under rubber cover it's the only thing that i did not check [how stupid am i] was using diagnostics for 3.5 efi and it hasnt got the fuel sensor in there, but heho . could someone tell me the purposs of this sensor so as i can understand the logic in my fault , started engine and it ran for longer and was not as hot [too touch ] as before or as high an idle speed weerd or what!!!
