richard1978
has anyone got any of these vortex tools. i like the idea of not having depth restrictions on sockets, but i have a halfords prof set already. are they worth investing in for landrover use or will i never need them for a landy? cheers in advance richard
landroversforever
I had a look at these and decided that I couldnt think of a job I couldn't solve with either a deep socket or using a ratchet spanner...
CwazyWabbit
Nice idea, however off the top of my head I can't think of any places where a deep socket won't do the job. Also if there are any then a ratchet spanner would be a lot cheaper. That said they are shiny and if I had the money and could work out a good excuse I too would be looking at them EDIT: scary how Ross and I answer the same questions, at the same time and in the same way
landroversforever
Great minds and all that Barry I did miss one point above and that is you can't have too many tools
jad
we have the halfords version. Used it a few times and is obviously very useful when the deep socket wont reach but that hasnt happened many times in the last few years!
missingsid
I agree about the deep socket stance however I have lots of times where there is not enough room for a standard socket and ratchet. Didn't look at the price though. Marc.
