need4speed
Not so much a request for the part number (DNC101720) but wanting to know if there is a possible alternative to this part seeing as it costs £40 from Britcar! Wondered maybe if the hose was a common bore? That way i could just by a cheap length of it?
mickeyw
Washer hose will be available at your local motor factors, in whatever length you want, and possibly with a choice of bores. And it won't cost anywhere remotely near £40! Edit: Or even here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DNC101720-land-rover-washer-pipe-meter-/261151776243 Edited January 15, 2013 by mickeyw
LandyManLuke
It's standard stuff, you shouldn't have trouble finding it. Likewise, T-joints, one way valves etc will all be readily available from the right place.
Diablo
I used RTC3650. But as above, nothing special about it
Retroanaconda
You can also try your local ponds/aquatics store. They'll sell hose for air pumps which is the same size. Typically 49p a meter (or maybe 99p now). Things like t-pieces, joiners, elbows etc. can be had for about 20p and a non-return valve will set you back a pound or two.
