jad
Hi Everyone Does anyone know what AT tyres are available that measure about 32 inch? I currently have 235/85/16 insa turbo special tracks that measure 32 front to back and 31 top to bottom. I want to replace them with something a lot more road friendly as I now dont do as much off roading as I used to and when I do its normally green laning than play days. I was looking at 285/75/16 general grabber AT's which are a little larger ~33" but I will have to get some less offset and wider rims (currently on a 7" modular with I think a +8mm offset) This would obviously reduce my turning circle which I am not bothered about as I wont be doing any trialing with it. I have read though that the 235/85/16 general grabber AT measures up at 32.5" which would be ideal. Can anyone confirm this? If anyone has any other suggestions that would be much appreciated. Thanks Jad
elbekko
265/75R16 is about 32", and is a nice size.
jad
They are slightly smaller and theoretically only 2mm difference to the 235's. I had my dads coopers ST's on before in 265 but they looked a lot smaller than the insa's. I dont want to go any smaller really. Jad
Simon Smith
My 265/75R-16 BFG Muds are 32" diameter, afaik the ATs are the same size.
mickeyw
Tyre diameter will vary a small amount between manufacturers, the pressure they are at when you measure them, how worn, and so on. BFG ATs in 265/75x15 would be a very good size, and will not foul the arches. The proportions give good road holding too.
