Vedrover
Gents, I have a question. Can someone give me sceme of mounting rear winch. 2 main points. Not in the trunk - need place for my dog and for extra passengers No extra bumper - all that bumpers make rear car angle even more worse I've thought to modify rear frame beam and input somehow there. Any ideas?
western
I've seen a 110 where the rear winch was under the rear floor & the fuel tank had been changed to a tank under the drivers seat [as per early 90's] only other way is one of these or similar http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_new.tpl&product_id=37268&category_id=1013351&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14 http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_new.tpl&product_id=2260&category_id=1013352&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=14 http://www.devon4x4.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_new.tpl&product_id=69900&category_id=1013352&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=
Vedrover
Picture one looks perfect I'll take that as basement for modification/ my crossmember is in very poor condition anyway...
bishbosh
Don't think that will fit with the fuel tank in place though?
Retroanaconda
Indeed. You'd have to move it to under the driver's seat as per Ralph's post above.
Ash.Witty
Extreme 4x4 sell a winch tray which replaces the centre part of the crossmember, looks really tidy once fitted.
steve200TDi
Hi, I know you say without reducing the departure angle, but as I guess your fuel tank is right behind the rear crossmember like on a TD5, so you could try and do something like I've done here: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=76471&page=2 Steve
