Back wheel covered in grease

as Ross says, inside the wheel or outside the wheel - guessing outside and its probably a blocked breather as has been mentioned, a longish journey and pressure builds up and blows the seal out. If you have perished hub covers like mine it just dribbles out and then flicks all over the wheel at speed. Replacement seals aren't expensive.

Check the 5 bolts in the drive member inb centre of hub are tight, if the cap looks fine, it could still have a split, it needs to be off the hub for a good look & ensure it is fully seated on the drive member too.

A mate is claiming it the axle seal as if seems to be oil from the diff? Could this be the case
