mmgemini
What are people using ? For me I need a sensable price. Not 100quid ones. Something that's comfortable on Defender pedals Anybody used the 40quid ones from Screwfix or Toolstation. I'd like something that doesn't take in water
landroversforever
I just use a decent pair of walking boots or sometimes wellies if its going to get wet.
UdderlyOffroad
Mike, Go to an 'elf and safety shop near you (workwear specialist), and try on some workboots. I've got some light, comfy ones (composite cap) which cost £45 from my nearest branch of Arco. Perfect for 'fender pedals. Reasonably waterproof too. Mind you, my employer paid for those... bluespanner
Vtech are good. Very comfy. I use the v12 dealer boots for work
muddy
We sell buckler boots at work, most of us get a year out of a pair which is pretty good going as an agri fitter I reckon. They only do two or three pairs of waterproof lace ups IIRC but their riggers and dealer boots turn water well. We even have a depot at Carlton on tees now....RFS Will. mmgemini
Went into ARCO this afternoon. £ 23.99 Sir. That's fine by me. I'll know at the end of next week how good they are.
discomikey
i absolutely love my CAT boots, wear them everywhere (Except work as it might upset someone)
Tanuki
I just can't drive in boots - they do evil things to my throttle-foot and after a few hours I get a desperately sore ankle, so I generally drive in a pair of worn-out trainers. When I do wear boots my current choice (had them for a few years) is a pair of these: http://www.polimil.co.uk/oakley-si-6-assault-black-boot.html They're really flexible and light - kinda like trainers-on-steroids. Only downside is that if you walk across shiny floors with the soles of these boots at all wet, they kick up the most unbelievable SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! Definitely unsuitable for shopping-mall ninjas.
studmuffin
i absolutely love my CAT boots, wear them everywhere (Except work as it might upset someone) Love my Cat boots too though they are not cheap these days. My serious weather boots are my Alt- Bergs - like slippers. Hope that they will see me out. Cheers Barry
