WesBrooks
Alright, a bit of a noddy question but what is the bit of body called where the fuel filler neck secures? It's on the rear quarter drivers side on the wing above and to the rear of the wheel. I'll be able to search for it once I know what it is! WesBrooks
Thanks, 330366 is the bit I meant. I was hoping it was mounted to a flat section of the body for my project. Alas not quite that simple! I'll have a hunt around on kit car suppliers sites. looking for something like on this one: https://mostlypyjamas.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/img_00631.jpg?w=764&h=
Bowie69
The TD5 panels are flat to the bodywork...
Pepé le Pew
The 330366 looks like a serie fuel filler. The later one from the 90/110 and Defender is not listed as a separate item but part of the side panel. Eric
WesBrooks
Ok, think I've got it. YRM do the following: http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/Land-Rover-Defender-90-Fuel-Filler-Neck That confused me a little having not stared down the filler area of a defender! The following thread shows the profile of the back bit doesn't match the profile of the hole: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/1258430-post118.html Sorted, I think! The outer wing part of my body is steel, so suspect I'll fabricate something from scratch to avoid the disimilar metals corrosion issue. Thanks.
