JMZ153
So I've just put a 300tdi and r380 into my 90.. Started it today and bled clutch. Tried to drive the Landy and clutch doesn't have much travel down, when engaging gear with clutch pressed the 90 does move slightly as if it's hitting the biting point. Reverse gear is also very difficult to engage.. Any idea what it could be? Setting? Clutch? Clutch not bled properly??
vulcan bomber
Check the pedal height is correct. If that's OK, there's probably still air in there.
dailysleaze
If that fails, did the slave cylinder come with the gearbox or is it new? There are 2 for the R380 and has to be matched to the push rod length: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=11898
Boydie
I'll go with the sleaze on this, my guess is you have the shorter of the two push rods, either that or the rod has come out of the clamp (of the urine weak design) holding it into the clutch lever cup. simonb
Reset the pedal height and the pushrod free play on the master. The details are on here, or someone will no doubt post a clicky linky for you.
