Mostly for the door frames themselves when they blister, i've successfully done small repairs and "blended" the paint so it can't be too bad a match. simoniz do a range of tough paints, their satin black tough paint is very good. I don't get on with the acrylic version though, maybe i'm doing something wrong but it seems to dry with grey patches in it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

muddy4x4xfar Posted May 31, 2016 Share Posted May 31, 2016 I used a few tins of simoniz black on my project vehicle then went over it all a few times with some laquer, also having a heat gun helped. and theyve come up looking awesome.
