  1. Re-adjusted the brakes and clutch now bit awkward to test the brakes in the drive but i think i've cracked them but will find out once it goes in for its MOT.
  2. It was, day off tomorrow so will sort the brakes and clutch out then fit the brake light switch once it comes then its more or less ready for its MOT 😁
  3. Had the 2a out yesterday up and down the drive ( still on sorn ) seemed ok but need to adjust the clutch, brakes and replace a faulty brake light switch but other than that i'm quite pleased 😁
  4. Engine back in and running with no oil / water leaks so just got to refit the floor plates back in and sort a few small jobs out and its done, will post pic's tomorrow
  5. Will post some tomorrow whilst refitting the engine.
  6. Replaced rear oil seal and timing cover / water pump gaskets, refilled with fresh oil and filter as well so should have it back in and running tomorrow
  7. Oop's I forgot to update from the weekend, well the engine is out and on the bench, the back end of the engine is stripped and cleaned up ready for the new seal and gasket to be fitted once the seal arrives, I also noticed that the timing cover was leaking slightly behind the water pump so I will do that whilst the engine's out then hopefully this weekend we will have the engine back in
  8. Thanks guys yeah its a Bearmach one but have hered that the BP ones are good but never tried one but i will certainly give the Corteco one a go 👍

Its alive yes today we eventually got the engine running after trying to start it with a faulty new ignition switch, ended up using the old ignition switch for now but our celebrations was short lived as we later discovered that the new rear crank oil seal was leaking so we will have to do that, but for now we will sort the lights and a few other things out then I will yank the engine out again and replace it
  10. Alternator spec loom, i also have the h/d cable that links the alternator to the starter motor as well

Hi guys Right as you may know i'm more or less at the end of the rebuilt inc a Disco 200tdi conversion as well and we are fitting the new wiring loom atm from Autosparks which is for a negative earth car which mine is but had a dynamo fitted and the fitted 200tdi engine has a new B P alternator fitted but I just need to know what I need to do to convert from dynamo to alternator please
  12. Yeah we are going to run the loom on the outside of the chassis using clips, the rest of the loom is pretty easy to fit
  13. Just waiting on the wiring loom from Autosparks which should be here either today or tomorrow so Saturday me and son will get right on it then its a quick check over then its in for its M.O.T.
  14. Made and fitted the brake pipes yesterday inc bled the brakes as well, oh and here are a couple of night pic's
  15. Weller modulars from paddocks wanted 8 spoke but was sold out so went for them instead
  16. New wheels and tyres, ok a bit ott for what I want them for but 7.50's are getting hard to get now and these tyres were cheap for what they are
  17. Yeah i still have the the old 4.7's just incase 👍
  18. Yeah i have the S3 cable as well, yeah i've added an ashcroft transfer box and Def diffs to match the engine
