  1. Sorted, I was suppose to have been fitting the door seals today but remembered I had forgotten about the bulkhead and screen to roof seals so after looking at it all and thinking about it all ( a petrol can and a match sprung to mind ) I reluctantly decided on dropping the fuel tank, lifting the seat box and slacken off every bracket that connects the body to the chassis inc slackening off the roof / van sides and bulkhead and tweaking where needed with a jack and a block of wood and it looks like I've got it So I am now going out to get a crate of beer and get absolutely smashed
  2. Thanks guys will look at paddocks later 👍
  3. Fitted the sill rails today and my new door seals arrived this afternoon so i will start fitting the tomorrow.
  4. Truck cab with rag back or full rag top
  5. Hi tobey7 I think the 109's tub wheel arches would be out meaning on a 110 the axles are further apart than they are on a 109, think the tub would fit but the vehicle would look daft same where peeps have fitted a 90 body on an 88 or vise versa, think its also to do with the rear bulkheads as well as on Defender's the rear bulkhead is sort of fitted back to front to a series to give more seat / leg room in the front
  6. Not riveted in yet as i need to get some angle ally tomorrow then i can rivet it all in
  7. Yeah i will have a fresh look at it again once i get my doors.
  8. Didn't do anything to the 2a over the weekend as i'm waiting for a few things to arrive, door seals and a couple of sill rail to tub brackets then I can finish fitting the seat box in and enjoy my 2 weeks off whilst i'm fitting them
  9. Sorry not had chance to have another look at it yet with doing other stuff on the landy i will try and find my ball of string and check.
  10. Spent yesterday fitting the front panel, rad, intercooler then decided to roughly offer the n/s wing up and noticed the bottom intercooler hose was fouling the inner wing so i ended up re- positioning the intercooler which meant redoing the intercooler hosing which ended up looking better, no pic's yet will post them later 🙂
  11. Good idea never thought of that, will give that ago tomorrow before work 👍
  12. Cheer's i will give that ago at the weekend.
  13. Yes i fitted new members to the tub i also fitted thin plates where the member fit.
  14. Cheer's that would be great, i imediatly thought that the distance between the bottom of the bulkhead to the top of the bulkhead was wrong but i don't have the old bulkhead now and even if i did i don't think it would be much help with the condition it was in.
  15. Yeah its a recon'd galv bulkhead that's replaced the original bulkhead, at first I was thinking the windscreen brackets were out or something and came up with an idea to replace the bolts that go through the screen brackets with thinner ones which should lower the screen but then I would have the same problem at the screen to roof seal so I decided to leave that idea, i'm not sure if its worth doubling up on both seals or not as I can't think of anything else that would cause it other than the bulkhead being out somewhere as the roof and screen are original to the vehicle.
  16. Think I need to sauce some better seals
