More the sort of thing you say to your mate while you are leaning against the work bench with a mug of tea than a question, but what a useful diagnostic tool a digital camera can be! Check this out: after the -18 temperatures a couple of weeks back pushed this core plug out (its the one that site right below the manifold on a 2.5 NAD) I was pleased that I was able to leaver it back in with a long bar and a smear of blueseal. However, after testing I noticed there was a leak.
I could feel it was properly seated but I tried to leaver it a little more but with no effect. I added some more sealant to see what effect that would have but there was none. There was obviously no way I could get my head in to have a look and using a mirror and torch can be awkward at best but a little digital camera - perfect - and the cause obvious.
Anyway - just saying!
