Pass,, i have heard so much carp, in the last week or so !! like the 110 is not vat reclaimable, (like the old td5) due to only 5/7 seats, another dealer says rubbish, its now down to the weight capacity,, I think i did hear the double cab rumor though, but as i need the station wagon, did not pay attention !! I know the dealers/salesmen are not happy, cause they are going to lost bonus etc, because LR can not deliver !! sounds like the first batch are coming out, but then a couple of months wait !! Someone must know whats going on !!

Correct Mo,, After selling my 110XS and trying to find a replacement , the price i got on a new one was too tempting to refuse !! So got a slot for a 07 model 110XS, for delivery last week May / 1st week June, The price did go up, because they forgot that the extra rear (7) seats are now a option, (a lot of the dealer ordered stock cars are only 5 seat, as they did not realise its now a extra) Then middle of last week, was told of a problem with the new ones, and del could now be August maybe !! As i needed one for 2/3rd week of June, for a rally abroad, went and found a late TD5 version, and cancelled the new one !!

A update, if anyone interested,, Motor problem,, New Bowmotor 24v 5.6hp fitted, job a good un !! together with new brake kit, !! Will get the old motor checked/rebuilt, and will go on the rear husky, when i get round to it

I have Richard, As i have a job for the 110 in early June, and away a fair bit of May, vague del dates were not use to me !! So found a very late 110XS TD5 in Tonga, As the prices of late 110,s have gone up in the last 6/8 months, have not saved what i would call a "pile of cash" against what i was quoted for a new one I think with the new 07 model only being 7 seaters, and a option at that, late 9 seater will keep their valves well !!

Mine was surpose to be last week May/ 1st week June,, now maybe August !!

As per the other thread New Defender there seams to be a problem, ?? Transit engines !! can not get a delivery date, for a new one at the moment

Ok, so far we have CV Grease Sae 30 EP 80/90 ATF Think i am going to try the synthetic 85/90 !!, Loctite the seal/bush, after using the cardboard ring to push home as far as possible !!

Worth weighting the 90 as she is now !! As you already remove the rear door,, remove the pass seat for events as well !! Swap the doors for wolf/military type, and remove door tops, convert to rag top The hybrid did not run a steering guard for a while, only fitted, for the like of LFH,, and the river bed at 7S, Presume both guards are alloy ?? when the rally cars when on diets, the guards were changed to carbon, it was surprising what weight can be lost, inside the bumpers, door panel, under dash, tailgate etc with a hole cutter, but every bit helps, However, can not see a LR gaining a lot on challenge type events unless you lose at least 250kg, and without a full rebuilt, i would think is hard !! i would not bother !!

Do not know the full story yet, but there's "trouble at mill" Seams delivery dates are up in the air, and may-July cars are now on hold !!! So now looking for a used TD5 !!
