    I believe its the second job/project, lined up by Mr Ashcroft After the auto conversion Its not just the choice of 6 ratios, but the box is a lot smoother in operation, the gear changes are now bordering on a being a pleasure !! Even the other half will be able to drive it !

    Genuine wing top check plates, are foam backed, and bolted through with countersunk set screws, Access all the nuts via the top vents/covers etc ,

    Had it on a lift yesterday, and i thought the sump is quite high up, certainly compared to the hybrid, can not say i noticed the axle/bump stops relationship etc, Mog,, noisy you say ?? mmm, was quite noticeable today, down some high hedge lanes with the window down !! sounds like a valve of some sort in there,, best i have a delve tomorrow

    Hard one Mark,, Victor and my better half's came a couple of years back, and spent most of the weekend doing the tourists bit, horse riding & shopping etc GB's Jenny and Les Brock other half have been in the past, and a few girls go from the Jeeps side, but the LR participants are normally short on the female side, but am sure she would be made very welcome

    Anyone else with the later puma engined defender ?? could they check please ? Mine is quite noticeable, as thought the air intake is restricted in some way

    Matt,, did not know the lathe was a option,, Thought it was standard fit ?? another for the Gordano meet ?? Bish , i see you are registered for the event, suppose you are working on the theory, that if you set the punches out, you will remember where you put them, Also remember this is camping again ,, bring the tent !!

    Mine use to leak badly,, and being a V8, cost a fortune I just changed the cap to a standard gen item, and all sorted Their is a thread in Land Rover Technical Archive if you want to go a bit further, Plus i am sure JST did a breather system as well somewhere ??
