Just for the middle of the swept area on each side. That's all I do a bit of trial and error using a pin.

Does anyone know the load rating for cyclone wheels. I need some discovery size tyres for the IVA of the ibex and have been offered some mounted on cyclones.

How about turning the grill upside down.

Every thing land rover up to about 300tdi doesn't have a fuse in the main feed to dash etc. Discoverys from 92ish to 94 had fuseable links (thin wire designed to burn out if overloaded). I've replaced these on my ibex with an under bonnet fuse box from a td5.

Me too, the wife has now given in and points them out for me.

Isn't there normally a Summer sisters now?
Your not helping!
It is close but I'm expecting it to fail the IVA first time so its about 3 months from booking to on the road.

I'll try my hardest, there is rumours of an ibex get together I guess it will be in the summer.

It transpires that this year is the 30th anniversary of ibex so I best get it on the road then! So in that vein I did a little today. I've fitted the rear door panel, I do have two of these one is just ply full height with carpet on the other is fibreglass and only half height. The full height is fitted with machine screws into the frame. The half height is I case I have to put a rear window in for the IVA so fingers crossed they let the current one through. Also got the rear seatbelts fitted nothing tricky here as the mounts are part of the frame so just find the holes under the linings and bolt them in.

Mine has a 3 hole and has never been skimmed. My impression is it's to allow for bad tolerance control in the factory.

Standard thermostat housing turned to point the other way.

Slight lift mainly due to the winch but it did rub occasionally on the back before. Steering lock stops need adjusting to stop the tyres rubbing the radius arms. I don't know what offset the challenger wheels are but the modular (16x8) stick out father than standard wheels.

Same tyres on modulars. I really like them and would have to be pushed to change.

Trust me I can be a grumpy old bugger and I don't like bangers or seat belts NOT being worn. Plus I'll happily kick someone out (and have done) for not playing nicely.😲

I remember a time when I got that much done in this amount of time....oh yes then I had kids.

If you have a towbar on the back that's fine chances are we'll pull you out the way you went in. 😉

Your unlikely to miss me either.

I had this exact problem it's due to corrosion inside the solenoid. You can loosen the two bolts holding it squirt some oil in. That should sort it for a while.

There is everything there from steep ascents/descents to gentle undulations. We have marshals on hand to advise or extract if need be. If you find me I can take you round. 😉

45 (90) has a complete discovery 200tdi brake system on a defender pedal box. The servo needs changing which is a discovery item (I had to mod the pedal box to fit). My question is does anyone know if a discovery (200tdi) master cylinder will fit on a defender servo I know the servos are different thickness.

I really like the look of that nice job.

As above I know nothing about these engines. I'd be surprised if you can take the electronics off. Most modern engines will not run mechanically. You may be able to get it running with it's original ecu and engine loom mated to your loom or with a bespoke loom and ecu.

Is this the prop lengths thread if so it was mine.

If fitting an isolator switch run the cable from the alternator to the battery side of the switch or to the battery. If you don't and turn the switch off while the engine is running it won't stop the engine and could burn out the alternator.

Sometimes I really hate living down south. We haven't seen any yet this winter.
