Current plans are 200tdi/lt77 not sure whether it'll be a disco or def box it depends on prop lengths I have all these so choice was easy. Probably rover front and Salisbury rear on fairly standard suspension as again I have these and this truck will be my daily driver. I'm going to build some sort of box on the back use one one of my dashboards and freelander seats. Colour is not yet confirmed this truck will be IVA'ed and is planned to take about a year to build.

Just some pics to get you started I've still got to clear a space in the garage to build it.

What's your project? If it's any use, I was thinking about removing all the Electric Drive bits from my Freelander and building a plug in hybrid 90 instead - in which case the body (less engine & box) would be available.

The cheap freelander would be a run around. The project on the other hand is an ibex 300 double cab unbuilt kit I stumbled across on ebay. Always wanted one so when I saw it every thing changed and the 110 had to go.

I might of bought a new project and the 110 will fund it. So will be looking for a cheap freelander soon.Selling the 110 Mike?!Mike

Cool now all I have to do is find a way of getting it from you to me in Southampton. Any volunteers for a forum relay.

Dirtyninety I would have one off you subject to where you are or getting it to me I'm after a four bolt preferably with a disco arm I need to replace the one on 45.

I vote yes and I think anything that is home made/fabbed has a home there plus all the items that are either modified from standard or not used as they were designed for.

Just don't overload them we killed the pcb in ours as they don't seem to have any overload protection ours does now.

Cut the bit that bridges the gap off the original arches job done.

I think I'm going to fix it up and sell it on. Then I can spend the profit on the bits I need.

Sureterm is part of Lancaster insurance.

The trouble is I need other bits like doors, gearbox, heater and steering box/pump from the 110. I'd probably get about £3000 but then I still need the other bits.

Have you looked on the eberspacher website it is very comprehensive with downloadable manuals.

I have a dilemma I have bought a 110 pick up on an E plate. I was going to break it as it has various parts I need for our other two trucks the trouble is bar the knackered td lump it's in good shape it came with a 70k 200tdi and all the bits to fit it but this is the main bit I needed. So would you carry on and break it, fix it sell it buy the parts with the profit or use the tdi then fit the old engine I'm replacing and buy the other bits with the profit.

The BOB standard size lights are a vast improvement the stop/tail lights are now on a par with modern car lights instead of a dim glow. I'm very happy with mine and they were fairly easy to fit to.

Definitely to expensive in grp I made an entire dash board for 45 and still have the mould but it would cost £250 to make and that's just materials and Labour so the mould sits in the garage till I want another one for myself .

Why don't you use a discovery lt77 bell housing they are similar in length to the r380 bell housing mind ithink the clutch slave maybe in a different position to the stubby..

Could you use P38 axles as the diff is on the other side you could turn them upside down.

The windscreen hasn't been cut out to full size yet but there is something like 2" box under the aluminum there.
