yes no 1, i do not have air conditioning, wwent to scrappie and the one he had, had the air conditioning pulley on aswel, could i take this off and just use no'1, just a thought, cheers

sorry yes it is bottom pulley with the rubber bush inside cheers

and yet more problems, the bottom pulley has collasped, the pulley has come off leaving the housing still on engine, now how do i change it, and where do i get a replacement being a bmw engine 2.5 dt, been on ebay no joy, anyone got any ideas, cheers dd

hi all, came back off hols today, guess what, fan belt on the p38 bmw engine dt, split not broke but split all the way round theres about 6mm of belt left turning the fan, need to get it changed asap, started it up and there was loud clunking, dont no if its the damaged belt wipping on something or not, is there any pictures out there to help me change it, would this have altered the timing at all, any advice welcome cheers dd

had the wifes new p38 V5 back the other week, at the top in bold letters it says, this is not proof of ownership, and it was also on my defender90 V5, so what proof have we got, dd

hi all, hoping to do oil change on wifes p38 bmw engine 2.5dt, poked my head under bonnet, wheres the oil filter, also going to look at tappets, rocker gasket, can i ajust the tappets if so what guage do i need, doing rear brake pads aswell, is there anything i should be aware of, thanks in advance dd

under truck this morning and yes bushes no good, i can turn shocker by hand,something else looked odd, i think i put +2" shockers on stanard springs does that mean my shockers were'nt doing anything, dd

i have'nt checked anything yet,it' going to be next weekend before i can do anyting, golfing down devon all week :)

hi all, d90 1987 200tdi conversion 18mths ago, when reversing today, i had a wobbling on the rear end, no noises, grinding, crunching nothing, just wobbling, i was swinging round to my right, when i drove off it felt as if i had swivel hubs on the back axle, any ideas cheers dd

how come you can drive your vehicle to a mot garage without mot and tax as long as it is booked in

hi all, the wife's p38 had trouble starting ths morning, sound like battery dead, tried to jump start it did'nt want to know, and then i had a little mess round the starter motor wiggled a few wires all seemed tight, tried again first click of key bingo, now i noticed i could'nt see an earth wire on the starter motor, i think normally theres one comes off one of the anchour bolts to the chassis, am i right, because we had the roll pins done in the gear box and the prat had'nt done something and all the fluid came out when we got home, took it back sorted, but did he forget to put earth wire back on ????? cheers dd

these koni heavy tracks, could i use these with blue/green & blue/yellow on the front, green/yellow/red & green/yellow/white on the rear, on my d90, that's got heavy bumper & winch, would the sockers be stanard, or are they lifted, :unsure: dd

on mine theres a screw which goes through the back and into the orange bit,which holds the lock in aswell, where do i get the orange bits from, whats the part number, dd

hi all, have a problem, key snapped off in lock, took barrel out and managed to get broken key out, but also managed to snap the plastic orange bit on the end, looked on ebay and all the ones i can see don't have the orange piece on, where can i get them might aswell buy the set save having to many keys, 1987 defender 90, dd

hi, i did'nt have one on, i've fitted this wiper motor myself, but all the wiring is on the motor which compares with the switch instructions, do you supply a live to the switch, because fowolled diagram and nothing works, unless i put live straight to motor, what is suppling motor with a live feed, i heard it's the green wire, which in the instructions it tells you to connect to pin tree and pin five, still nothing, i'm at a loss, dd
