  4. They really are rubbish! I've got two mates with 90's that are identical one runs BFG Muds and the other use to run the Goodyear MTR, the BFG's would walk all over the Goodyears in everyway. Jon

  10. It's 3 hour drive for me(Shrops/Staffs border). If you fanced fitting it yourself they have a outlet in Sandbach Cheshire, where you could collect the built up cage. Jon
  11. I had mine inspected and they couldn't understand why i wanted it sva'd, I have it in writing that it doesn't need to be tested. It seems that no one really knows, you always read/hear different stories.
  12. I have Mach 5's with Insa Turbo special tracks on my disco, they'r not balanced and i have no problem with them. The only time i do is when there full of mud.
  13. We've got Whitbread cage,tray back and challenge wings very good bloke to deal with and very well priced.

  16. I took my anti-roll bars off 4 years ago and several friends have done the same, not one has faild for not having them fitted. Jon.
  17. I've got a Rimmer Brothers stainless sport system on my Rangey, it fitted spot on and sounds really good. It's been on 5 years now with no problems. My mate's got a Double S system on his 90 and we had to do a few tweeks here and there to get it to fit.
  18. A Friend of mine has a a Gywn Lewis 8274 winch bumper for sale, It's not 12 months old yet and only done 1 challenge event. He's looking at £300 for it.
  19. You can change the tune resistor in the loom so you can run it with out the lambda sensors, Just done the same to a mates 90. Carn't remember the part no but i got it off here somewhere. W've put the ECU and relays etc in a water proof box in the cubbybox.
  20. Hi all, Have just fitted a 3.9 V8 out of a 95 Disco into a 86 ex mod 90, got it all running all nice and bubbly but there's a couple of things to sort out. Have wired the alternator charge light to the 90's loom(same colour brown/yellow) but the light doesn't work. When i tested the light for power with a test lamp it lit up but dull ? I'm using a speed transducer from a 92 Range Rover because of the speedo, This has two wires Green/yellow, on the Disco loom there is just one yellow and pink(i think left my piece of paper in the shed). How do i connect this up ? Thanks for any help Jon
