  1. Yup - the Seven Sisters one is a seriously good event Our first time there last July and it was fantastic B) Alot of the 'Big boys' present all of whom are up for a fun event and enjoy helping people out and having a laugh, take it as seriously (or not!) as you like. The site is fantastic, something for everyone (seriously!) and the punches are laid out to suit. Details will be anounced at the next club social although it's a J33P club event, so all organisation through them All details can be found here: J33P Club Let me know if there's any questions
  2. lol! You know what I mean (backs already been stripped, only the fuel tank and exhuast left to come off - she was only in there 2 hours! B) )
  3. ...website working again now... B)
  4. Assuming you meant you were going to Nicks and not just Wales when Mandy said that's where you were goin' ....
  5. On Nicks own play site, you could do it before breakfast B)
  6. P.S. Garage has been cleared, Bertha's going in tonight and apparantly not coming out until seriously reduced in length! B)
  7. The gang of 5 is great and I would highly recommend joining them! B) Btw - can't get onto J33P ... anyone any ideas? Got my cheque book sat here waiting!
  8. P.S. Tonk - try sticky wallow when you're there, should be able to get through it and most fun for some proper muddy water spraying! B)
  9. He said 3 weeks until he's moving, I think he's really looking forward to it, sounds like a great site he's got out there and some interesting off roading. Apparently the new owners are just as off-road friendly though, so should be no problems B) Nice friendly place, and despite the fabulous food I only put on a pound while we were out there! Not bad for a week of cooked breakfasts Still, all that running up and down riverbeds must be good for you!

Just to update Dan's - It was £143 for all our cars - well, actually, it covers Dan and I, so we could of sat in your motor and got it recovered It also covers a named car abroad (we selected the 110), if you don't want the abroad/forward car/hotel option you can cover yourself and Trace for £99 on any vehicle - also, no age limit/specified number of recoveries or silly low weight limit unlike others, so fine for the IIA B) Next time, say you've been greenlaning (as that's public highway) ... donno, it might make a difference. Loads of the others specifically exclude driver training/motorsport days etc. HTH
  12. We'll be registering after the 15th - no money 'till then! ... the joys of owning a Land Rover!
  13. Oo, sounds interesting... B) Will have to look that one up.
  14. P.S. Ali - have you read Peter or Elieen Crichton's 'Chasing Rainbows'? It's about a journey around the coast of Oz - might be interesting readin'?
  15. The camels have a series tank under teh drivers seat - would this be worth looking at? Does make it a bit difficult to fill up though if Ali didn't want duel fillers, but might be a cheaper option? ... obviously I have no technical knowledge but thought it might be worth mentioning! B)
  16. Hi Tim! The details are here: L2B , might be a bit far for you? Basically, everyone including most the clubs camp over on the Friday night (I'm with Shire Land Rover Club) then convoy down to Brighton for an afternoon of Land Rover fun. You don't have to park on a club stand, so doesn't matter if you sold the Raider - all the Landy's park together on the sea front. Stands and fun and games available - awards for the best Landy's (and the worst!) and basically a bit of a giggle. Still, if I don't see you there see you in Wales B) Jen
  17. (besides, at the last Axminster he was meant to be our team mate and kept hiding the punches under leaves until we'd passed so he could beat us! ... we still beat him though! )
  18. Sadly not It's a different Mark with a different Rangie coming to Seven Sisters! I was hoping to persuade Mr Hankin to come, but the Rangie won't be ready and he's 'retired' the 90 from off-roading. Poor excuse if you ask me!
  19. It would as it was superb last time, I had much fun - especially watching Tim crossing the river B) But... We're bring the 'other half' of our team this time (another battered rangie! ) ...so six might be a few too many! Can we resurrect the team of 5 in the bar and just follow you guys at a distance on site?
  20. They come as standard! (well, the front bit does anyway... and it's plastic... )
  21. I'll be there! B) Maybe! Scoobs day out at Alton on Sunday and they've closed the town centre for us as there's 150+ cars attending B) We'll be up there early though, so when it's finished me and Rach might be attending (either that or we'll be in the pub waiting for you lot! ) Still quite tempted to see what my 'other' 4wd will do!
  22. A vehicle at my house without broken bits!
  23. AND it's the weekend before my Birthday! I'll bring lots of cake B) We'll be there - Bertha *will* be bob-tailed or at least sorted a bit more, may even be bringing the other half of our team if he's allowed out! Jen P.S. I love Adnams are there any attractive barmen ?
