  1. I'll be there spectating and possibly servicing. It's perfectly good possible to go there and go to the sections without a 4x4/quad. Last year I went went with my BMW 123D Coupe and didn't encounter any problems. See you there! Regards bowy
  2. Ralph, why would I need a sensor from CAI, they don't offer one suitable for mounting on my LT230. And as far as I know the speedometer needs a low voltage or HAL pulse to operate. the 3 pin landrover sensor is a HAL one. But I'm just trying to find out what the 2 pin one is.
  3. I already knew the 3 pin variant. But I happened to have to 2 pin variant lying around, so that's the reason I'm using it. Now I only have to find out how to wire it.....
  4. I'm trying to fit a aftermarket Caerbont Automative speedometer to my landrover. So I have to convert my cable to a speed sensor. I've taken one of a discovery but don't know how to wire this? It's a 2 pin variant. So the options are: 1 pin + / 1 pin to speedo 1 pin - / 1 pin to speedo Any ideas how to wire it? And is it frequency / pulse / voltage based?? Regards Bowy
  5. I'm fitting a chevy small block in my 127 but haven't got a enough room for the big and bulky chevy steeringpump. So I would like to fit a P38 steering pump (because of the Mulitbelt) but this one has a 20% smaller pully. So it probably will spin 20% faster. What do you guys think, will this be within the limits of the pump or should I look for a differen solution? Thx for the input! Cheers Bowy
  6. Tomorrow I would like to change the cambelt of the 2,5 NA of a friend. I've never done this before but have done more then a several 200 and 300 tdi's. Are there any major differences in the lining/locking of the cam/pump or flywheel? Thank you for you fast reply. Regards Bowy
  7. That are just ordinary 35's mud BF's. Oh and one other cool thing is swopping the gearbox at billing of the same car! Made lots of new friends and dronk more beers
  8. Pulled this lorry out of a ditch to the main road in deep snow!
  9. I'll be there from friday morning till sunday afternoon with a dutch group, your invited to stop by and come drink some beers
  10. Ralph, Thanx for your fast reply. Just the pics I was looking for! Cheers Bowy
  11. Hi, I'm in the middle of the restoration of a 127 Hicap. Because the body mountings were completely bodged by the previous owner. I'm looking for a exploded view of: The rear part of the body/rear bulkhead fixing. And am looking for a view of the rear tub mounting. If someone could help me with the pdf's or views of this I would be extremely grateful! Regards Bowy
  12. Thx! Just the info I needed. Regards Bowy
  13. Hi Ole, thanx, but is the PTO then complete to fit on another box? Regards Bowy
  14. Í'm removing a PTO winch and PTO from my 127. I've removed the PTO from the LT95 box but I'm not sure if one of the gears inside the box belongs to the PTO or the box? (wan't to keep the PTO complete because I would like to sell it) Can anyone help me out? a few pics to understand which gear I mean. Hope you guys can help me out! Cheers Bowy
  15. I Think you're right the 3 inch front should be easy but (bt haven't found them on any webshop do you know where?P), not to HD rear propably harder to find, I'm not planning on using the 127 for carrying large loads all the time. But will fit an external cage and 140liter LPG tank. So a bit firmer is no prob. And I'm not intending on using the internal springs, I would like to adapt the X eng inner springs. Any ideas for a reasonably priced custom spring supplier?
  16. I know a 3 inch lift involves a lot more then just the springs. But I just like the looks of a 127 with 36 inch tires, So I want to have a go at it I think I will be able to handle the problems involved and build a very driveable 127 So that's the reason why I'm looking for a set. Just because I can
  17. I've just bought myself a new project. It's a 127 (DC hicap) that will be overhauled completely. It currently has a high compression 3,5 V8 fitted that will be replaced with something with a bit or a lot more powerrr and preferably auto (maybe, 5,7L Chevy ramjet ). But for the time being I'm looking at a new suspension set up. Will be using Gwyn's arms up front and rear. Also a DC prop. Will be fitting Sals front and rear axles and the anti roll bar from X-eng. Would like to fit something like 35 or 36 inch tyres. So I'm looking at a 3 inch lift kit (just springs no blocks!) But in all the webshops in the UK I'm having difficulty's finding a good set. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thx! Regards Bowy
  18. Finn, I've got exactly the same krane. Work great, even engines with box en T-case can be lifted on the longest setting. (just) Dus ik zou zeggen gewoon shoppen die handel! Bowy
  19. A pre 1987 V5 is worth about 2000 pounds if converted to a dutch versions V5, which is something people do with non legit breaker 110's RHD without a V5 that are floating in Holland because road tax is about 1500 Euro a year for a landy and with a pre 1987 registration it free. So probably the guy trying to buy it has a deal with a non legit dutch guy. This is the reason even very bad pre '87 110 stawag still go for silly money on ebay to be exported to Holland. I know guys that will pick up several every month in the UK because of large demands. Off course this is all legal, but doing the V5 trick isn't. Regards Bowy
  20. Those rigid industries look good! And yes i was also inspired by the cars at billing, especially when I got a night demonstration from Tim aka Filthyboy. 999,- dollar sounds a tad expensive :S but when comparing them with the light force stuff it's not so bad. Better think some more about it and then decide. Have just bought the car and has to be ready next winter, so got some time left to decide. Regards Bowy
  21. I'0ve decided tot trade in my 6 Hella Rally 2000 spots for a fullwidth LED light bar (Filthy boy style). 2 reasons, first lower energy usage, second much easier to protect en nicer to look at. Any forumers with experience in LED light bars. Which are good? and which are the one to look out for? Regards Bowy
