  1. Gents, Any chance of a link for the 110 CSW (B reg) if it matters. webbersdad
  2. I'm still waiting. The project is currently in limbo pending this and time to make an alternative. webber
  3. You may have misunderstood. Gap the spark plugs to 0.7mm webbersdad
  4. For LPG the ignition system needs to be perfect. Also, on single point systems you should gap the spark plugs to 0.7mm. Don't mess about with ignition timing until you have done this. webber
  5. No. You can use the tank, and tube from the tank to the vaporiser, thats it. webbersdad.
  6. Sounds like a plan, but how long will I need to wait? webbersdad
  7. I've been in contact with Craddocks. They advise that the panel was the last one. They had bought a production over run of the top panel. Sadly the component is no longer available. webbersdad
  8. Lads I now need to buy the complete panel as detailed in the ebygumbay listing; however its sold. Can anyone point me in the direction of another supplier? webbersdad
  9. I note that you've changed the spark plugs. Did you gap them to 0.7mm? If not do so. webbersdad
  10. Do a search on ebygumbay for defender rear step; there are a couple of different options available. webbersdad
  11. My thoughts also. Don't forget that you will need to get the cylinder head/s machined before refitting to the engine. webbersdad
  12. My lad works a lot on P38s, with V8s fitted. They can be prone to airlocks, are you sure that you've got the air out of the system? webbersdad
  13. I'm currently restoring a B reg 110 County. Like most the corners of the upper part of the bulkhead have corroded. I purchased the corner repair panels with the longer leg thinking that they would do the job. However my lad has now got stuck into it and the rust has progressed more than the panels will repair. We've already discussed welding in some additional steel sections which seems simple enough. Some months ago, whilst surfing ebygumbay, I notices a re[air panel that was available to cover the whole of the upper section. I've searched again since, but can't find the panel. I've also searched Google and visited numerous website but with no luck. The panel was priced at around £100, which at the time I felt was steep, but now I'm not too sure with the amount of work it would save. I wondered if any member had utilised such a panel, and could advise where I may obtain one? webbersdad
  14. I insured with NFU for 11 years, no claims, no points. My renewal came through in February for my P38, the fee went from sub £600 to £1200 + A call to check they had not made a mistake proved fruitless. A search on the net led me to Admiral. webbersdad
  15. The gas tank contents gauge doe not work on pressure. There is a float which drives the gauge finger via a magnetic coupling. Behind the gauge face is a series of resistors, each resistance equates to a level indication on the facia switch. webbersdad

  18. I've been with NFU for 11 years; no claims, no points etc. Last year the premium for my 4.6 Rangie P38 was less than £600 for business use etc. This year NFU quoted £1200+ A visit to gocompare found me Admiral at sub £600. I spent a few hours filling in details for various insurance companies direct, but couldn't get a better deal. I got the impression that NFU are trying to get out of motor insurance. 11 years of business and loyalty counted for zero. webbersdad.
  19. The 5p will go on diesel also. To get the best economy from LPG you would be best advised to use the EFi engine ans a multi point sequential injection LPG system. webbersdad
  20. I've found this thread very informative, I've yet to start on webbers wagon, and was wondering if it was feasable to chop the rear cross member and weld in a winch box, brilliant. webbersdad
  21. Good question, I have the same problem, and was wondering the same thing. It will be interesting to learn the answer without conducting a trial and error fitment. webbersdad
  22. If you intend to break for spares please let me know, I'm in St. Helens. webbersdad
