  1. ok so i found the stub axle i need but im not 100% what seal i need and i think i need some sort of railko bush? does anyone have the part numbers that i need? its a lr 90 1984
  2. you could try swivel bearings they can knock when going from lock to lock if worn
  3. cheers for the advice after progressively hitting it harder in different place it came off, yes it was very rusted
  4. thats what ive been doing but ive had to start hitting rather hard know but still seems absolutely solid
  5. ok will do, how do you get the stub off it appears to be seized solid is there a special technique?

  7. thanks for the reply marco ive realised its becasue part of the old bearing is seized on the stub now i need to try and get it off
  8. ok i feel like a bit of a idiot but it appears that part of the old bearing stayed on the stub axle and i didnt notice it wasnt part of the stub now i have to try and work out how to get it off and it seems quite firmly in place any ideas? thanks for the picture it made me notice somthing was wrong cheers
  9. got a bit of a situation, having put the new tracks in last night and the bearing and hub seal i went out this morning to put the hub on and it wont go on enough to put all the nuts/spacers etc on by about 10mm i think any ideas?

  11. ive decided to do my wheel bearings tonight after getting the bits today and it says in the book use lithium based grease but the grease ive got is john deere multi purpose is this suitable for the job? cheers

  15. the 300 gearbox is different although i think you can mate the 300 to an lt77 gearbox and you dont get the exhaust problems when fitting a 300 like you do with the 200, not sure about engine mounts
  16. no it hasnt gone yet its just somthing is make a noise which doesnt sound healthy
  17. after a bit of roading the other day i noticed a sort of clicking noice when im pulling away, first i thought it was gearbox but now i think it might be cv joint as it seems worse when pulling away and turning does this sound like cv joint? if so, how can i work out which one it is? and is it a hard job? as it doesnt look to bad cheers

  20. i think they will fit on standard but could rub on articulation and you will probably have to adjust steering stops to prevent them from hitting the radius arms on full lock
  21. ok cheers thought that might be it ive got one in there and its seized in. do they need to come out
  22. ive got a big winch and big spots and it been ok for a year now i think as long as the rad is in goodcondition it be fine
  23. i had similar simptoms after taking the fan off and clean the mud out of the radiator the way it came in it was sorted
  24. where is the gearbox wading plug supposed to go i cant see any where for it
