hi, over the past few days my reverse gear (lt77) in the 90 has gone quite stiff. Its hard to explain but its not getting it into reverse but the moving it across through the gate if that makes sense. any ideas things that can be adjusted im hoping. cheers

gearbox, transfer box and axles are all the same fitting. not sure what the fuel tank is. yes you can run them all into 1

im pretty sure you do it by putting the terminal in a vice, heating it up with a blowtorch, melt a reasonable sized puddle of solder into it then push the battery cable into the terminal and hold it till the solder is solid. I saw it on american hotrod on tv. hope this helps

i had loud whining noise from my 200tdi a year or so ago. we checked turbo, power steering pump, went away when i had the cambelt changed so assumed it was the tensioner. not sure if thats any help

i bought this electric one http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/Pro...pcode=LMATIM034 so much easier than messing about with the land rover ones and these are more accurate. comes with about 6 different adaptors to fit it

i had this on mine it would just click and not turn, then it would turn, eventually it wouldnt turn at all it justed clicked so i just replaced it with a second hand one. my engines out of disco which makes it a nighmare to take, as it wouldn't fit between the engine and chassis to drop it out and the only way to take it out from above was to take the exhaust off and then the studs which hold the exhaust onto teh turbo

my tail light bulbs in the 90 keep blowing ive changed them twice now but they went again last night. I'm useless at trying to diagnose dodgy land rover electrics so thought id ask to see if there are some obvious things to check. thanks

Didnt get a chance to do it over the weekend as the starter motor on my 90 decided to give up so was busy doing that. Im planning on swapping over the viscous coupling and housing, but not the whole transfer box so cant imagine it will be too heavy. Maybe i'll have a chance this week to have a go

hi, im going to have a go at at changing a visous coupling over the weekend as ive read that its fairly simple, dont supose anyone knows anything i should know before doing it. ive got the whole housing so im going to just swap the housings over, any tips/ instructions would be much appreciated thanks

the safari snorkel is quite bulky, maybe blank the holes and fit a southdown

has anyone managed to fit a roll cage and have a safari snorkel i dont want to remove it and be left with lots of holes, anyone else had this problem and come up a with a solution? thanks

99.9% its oil

i took the flywheel off and theres no mark off oil leaking from it
