Thanks for this info..... It would appear that most people are saying drive it in High (right/ back) - is this the case or should it be in neutral? Does driving it in High not affect fuel consumption?

thanks for this......to engage High and Low should you just push forward and pull back, or do you need to move to left and the up and back across?

I have an ex-MOD Defender 90 and having real difficulty with the High and Low gears........to the extent that i can't tell which one i am in or more worryingly when i put it in Low (or what i think is Low), i can then no engage the normal gears, so can't basically go anywhere..... any suggestion welcome Thanks

I've decided to remove the spare wheel off the bonnet of my Ex-MOD defender 90 and put this inside. Anyone done this? Anyone know about fixings to buy/ use? Anyone know of any reason why i shouldn't do this? Thanks

as much as i like the workout every day i've decided its time to fit power steering to my ex-MOD Defender 90 anyone got any recommendation about rough cost (without installation) and best place to look + things to look for? thanks

batteries are all the same size aren't they?

i need to get a new battery for my Ex-MOD defender 90 as the winter starts are causing a few problems + the battery has never been very good. Obviously i could get a standard battery for not a lot but does anyone have recommendations on more expensive but far superior battery? also, thinking of keeping a starter kit in the Landy, something like the StartMonkey 400......anyone got any experience with this or other starter kits to keep in back? Cheers

I have the standard NATO towbar on my EX-MOD Defender and although i don't use a trailor much, does anyone know if you can use the standard trailor fixing i.e. the ball connector? or do i have to swap it or is there a modification kit? Thanks

having just bought an old Ex-MOD defender i'm wondering if anyone has recommendation for good insurance company who are cheap? i heard Ex-MOD vehicles are cheap, is this true? also, any suggestions for thing to get which can secure and reduce insurance? thanks
