  1. Firstly the Bobtail is made of lego...so wont help much! The fiesta isnt worth selling, its worth about £250 max + its dads transport to work and back. (and mom would never sell it anyway as her parents gave it to us ) the 206 isnt mine to sell. Surely there must be others that have ideas???
  2. I had thought of that. But there is no way without re-mortgaging the house that i could be insured on the Disco so the plain is out
  3. Does anyone have any ideas... I get the feeling that dad wouldnt mind taking the Disco off road as long as it was as close to 100% non damage as possible. If i took him then it might even encourage him to get annother for getting muddy. Where can i get behind the wheel off road? I thought about joining a club like ShireLRC, but the regulations state that '' Only MOT'd and insured vehicles to be driven at club events and by those who would normally be allowed to drive that vehicle on the road. '' Does everywhere operate this rule? I'm 17 and therefore no-one would insure me to drive it on the road. I dont have the money to own/run a land rover of my own but i am desparate to get off road. What are my options? Thanks
  4. I'm really confused as to when roof mounted lights can be used...when can/can't they? sorry for the hijack!
  5. It was just the first thing that came into my head after reading the thread
  6. Wouldnt an easy-er way be to use one of the emery cyclendar things that go in the end of a drill? might take a little while though
  7. Dont have to take any test to drive, as long as you have someone next to you with a full UK lisence (for that category) then take the theory before booking the Practicle, so you can drive on you own
  8. I been driving almost every day since nov 19th so alot of practise, book my test then polish up theory is a piece of tiddle...other part is annoying because of the quality of the videos, and it not being a completly yes/no responding. better idea for ease of test would be taking through a video clip with an examiner...pointing out all the hazards etc Good luck Mark90! its not so bad, doing it in swindon by any chance? building is dificult to spot only sign was a teeny tiny one in the window
  9. took me 10 mins for the questions. dont know how long for the hazard perception part...£28 in total!
  10. Thought i would let you lot know i have passed my theory test today!!!! half way to my complete lisence!

  15. sods law had a hand in today... opened first time i tried...must have been mom . short sharp 'opening' movement then the normal. it opened fine! done it before so it must be the spring. thanks everyone!
  16. You can fit in other trucks aswell as lannys well i dont think the 206 would like it. or have room behind the bumper for it!
  17. i'll have a fiddle with that when i get home... mom says she has 'tried all options' will try with the sticky out catch thing on the door (inside) 99% in the door though when its locked [rant] everything is trying to stop me from picking up my new bike [/rant]
  18. Yes i know about changing the spring, but is there any other way i can do it quickly. as i really want to be able to colletc my new bike this afternoon. but mom has text me to say it wont open! is there annother quick fix. even if it is only tempory to last being opened and closed twice? Thanks in advance!!!!

  22. our disco II is 52cm to the top of the ball. around 20.5" if it helps! The caravan does end up slightly nose up, but not excessivly. Only due to the towball being on its lowest setting.
