i suppose tying my fuel filter to the brake pipe that runs across the bulk head with string.... instead of bolting to the bulk head.

i cannot believe that people are saying bad things about WD40..... its liquid gold. un-doer of nuts...... starter of petrol engines it a god

fitted mine over 6 months ago...... ina word BRILLIANT.... well worth the money. it took me an hour to fit it.... and if i can do it in an hour.... everyone else should be able to do it in half. took mine through as much water and mud as possible and it just keeps on working.... where as my drum just wouldn't. buy one.

just fitted a 2.5 petrol......... just until i have the funds for something better... got a little black fuel pump with it.... should be mounted near the tank or will it ok mounted on the bulk head. did think about putting it in the battery box but then thought what if it leaked and then a spark..... kaaboom graham

these are the rear shock mounts on mine it allows the use of much longer shox and the front turets are 2" longer than standard. not had chance to try it yet though.

im trying to load Tom Tom onto my Dell axim X5................. ive loaded everything except maps! when i try and add the UK to the pda onto a 2.2gb CF card i get a little box pop up. Tom Tom set up.... yellow triangle with a ! in the middle of it....... and the words "disc access problem" ive tried 2 copies and it happens with both. any ideas? graham

i agree with richard......... keep the petrol engine. im doing the unspeakable now....... removing my dead 2.5n/a and putting a 2.5 petrol as a stop gap till i can afford something better.

bought a dell axim x5 for navigation purposes....... so i then went on ebay and ordered a copy of tom tom 5.1 to put on it. everything on the tom tom disc works apart from when i try to load maps....... i get a message saying "disc read error". been back on ebay today to get a replacement and the seller is no longer a registered user .......... oh well.

Kazi, the better half recently did a driving challenge day for charity....... driving lorries , steam rollers diggers and the like..... but she never got ago in a tank, wich was the the one she wanted. so i thought i'd book her ago in one. did a google search and theres loads of places...... but can any of you actualy recommend one, as i want her to have a good time. graham

right then.......... i wish to get a PDA for my vehicles as im sick of getting lost i would like one which will do post code to post code and it will have to be able to flick to an OS map.... in an instant. now i know most of this will be down to the software i put on it.... but what software? what PDA? have looked on various web sites like PC World etc with no luck. recommendations please.

both really........... i want to know how similar it is compared to my dead n/a diesel. ie is the starter the same is the alternator the same is the water pump the same and pipes etc.. graham

yes tonk they are............... imnot sure weather to get replacement axle casing and get it shot blasted and powder coated whilst im doing it. im running a rear axle with drum brakes at the moment.... is a axlewith discs a straight swap?

has anyone on here extended a truck cab on a 90 because im after some piccies if you have...........or some advice at least. thanx

why is it stuff always turns up when you dont need it??? ordered a pair of KAM electric operated diffs months ago..... in the mean time i fit new suspension and recently destroy my engine, which ive still got to replace. then yesterday i get a phone call saying my diffs had arrived also........has anyone got any pictures of 90 truck cabs which have been extended.......... ive seen them ages ago in magazines but acnt find them now. as this is something i fancy doing whilst ive got it in peices doing everthing else.

my laptop went wrong the other day and we had load windows xp on to it again. but since then the @ key is now key 2 and " is at the @ key..............why and how do i sort it please? oh yeh and theres no pound symbol anymore. any ideas?
