got a friend who is determined to fit 35" tyres on his 3 door disco. hes got 2" lift but alot of the ones ive seen have a body lift as well. any advice or piccies would helpful thanks graham

big yank...NO i have a friend doing this at the moment and is having alot of problems, heavy and keeps over heating, and the gearbox wont last. jap... YES isuzu engines are ment to be really good for 500k. V8 .... youve already got one so get it rebuilt......cheapest option and probably get the best power. others too expensive unless youve got alot of money.

lets be honest.......... if owning a V8 means 20degrees C sunshine in the middle of January....then im sticking with my 3.9.

yep its an electric KAM........... just had an idea... a tree surgeon is down the road felling some trees, so im gonna pop see if i can have a couple of pieces of trunk. then axle off with the diff pan and on with the new........... bound to have problems somewhere along the line.

im gonna start and fit a locker in the rear axle next weekend so i need to remove the rear axle.......... any advice on how to keep it in the verticle position whist the work is being done? my thought was axle stands under the out riggers.........but just how stable will it be? advice please....... as ive only got the usual garage tools......... NO fork lift available. thanx graham

running a club is hard going especialy when the member are scattered all over the country. we used to try and do committee meetings via MSN Messenger.... that was a challenge in itself, trying tofind a suitable time that evryone was happy with. ive not met any of you apart from tony and will...along time ago, but hopefuly this year sometime i will.

CABLE!!!! where i live weve only just got running water our local exchange was upgraded last July and my next door neighbour is on Tsicali BB....... so wether Tesco are talking cobblers i dont know.

im sure the "kid" on the phone said something about they use "datastream...somthing or other"...... and they likes of Tiscali dont...... and thats why my neighbour has BB.

ive finaly got fed up with my Tesco dial-up internet and go BB........unfortunatly tesco use a different type of BB than some of the others[well thats what they said on the phone] and our exchange isnt set up for it. so possible choices are Tiscali Yahoo....... any others?..... who would you recommend?......... i dont do alot of downloading..... but nice to watch videos on here without having to wait an hour. graham
