  1. Someone’s clearly never licked their finger while using the squirt gun😂
  2. Really though….it only needs 3 to work😂 I feel I have to echo what people are saying and say you’re doing a good job of it for someone who says they hate wiring.I have run much worse…. It needs to work and not catch on fire, the rest is a bonus David Freiburger did a really good piece on roadkill garage about wiring. Breaking everything down into bitesize chunks. worth a watch and a £7 a month motortrend subscription on Amazon here’s a link to the abbreviated epesode
  3. It’s not fat Ross, it’s power! I’ve told you this!
  4. They do. I imported one from the states but they are not as practical as they look. Super uncomfortable, only good if your doing light stuff as you can’t lift much without getting stuck and if you have a bit of a gut then forget about it.
  5. If memory serves the lightweight bonnet covers an ammount of the top of the wing. Enough room to mount them on top of the wing and be covered by the bonnet?
  6. I see what you did there😂 Or could be the floggers after abuse from The 10lb
  7. Ah that’s a decent find. We replace them every few months because we can’t afford for them to break in the air.
  8. Really wish you mentioned something about the flogging spanner before buying one….I could have sent one for postage, I know how much they can be
  9. @landroversforever is one of those wannabe postman idiots…. Always stomping about in his Boy Scout shorts😂
  10. I’m 90% sure I warned you about this earlier in the thread😂 I Ecco your thoughts, very nice, friendly and knowledgable guy and I wouldn’t get break lines anywhere else but every time I call I make sure I set aside some time for the phone call
  11. Not really. As I said you want to plumb the wastegate reference to the inlet manifold as it’s taken from the “hot” side and by the time the charge has cooled down you’ll have a massive pressure drop. I really wouldn’t be worried about the flow of the cooler pipe when the core itself is a bigger restriction.
  12. the whole concept of an intercooler is not conducive to airflow atall. the lazy piecuts are the least of your worries if that’s an issue. If it bothered you that much then take the reading for the waste gate from the inlet manifold rather that the turbo where they normally are. grill gooks great by the way. I wouldn’t have had the patience to stamp all that out.
  13. Also @landroversforever have you seen the price of a lightweight grill? To find a replacement is hard enough with out people asking phone numbers for a piece of mesh 😂
  14. May have missed the reason but why not just fit a mechanical pto like me and daan have done? It’s the lighter and faster solution
  15. that’s what we did…or something similar. The 2 legs met at the chassis with the 2 legs from the rear making 2 inverted Ks. Can’t find any photos of that thing they’re all poser shots which is a shame. I’m not trying to tell you what to do and it’s really hard to grasp the size of things you’ve made through photos. If you think it’s all good I’ll keep quiet
  16. I really really wouldn’t do that Stephen. It would only take 2 bits of extra steel in it to make a K-member in there would make it a lot stronger and safer. Just my 2p
  17. as we’ve not seen much in the way of fab work recently, how about this
  18. Move the bottoms a bit further out towards the hubs if you have room. That will soften them up a bit and not require you to have such a tall shock tower. I think I’m right in saying gon2far did exactly that
  19. Imagine what could be achieved if you locked him and @Soren Frimodt in the shed for a while😂
  20. I had a set of those front and rear…they worked really well untill the front or back of the truck got light then they would push, exaggerating the fact. Not good going up steep climbs and even worse going down. First outing at a play day with them I cut the passenger seatbelt and made a limiting strap between the a frame and a crossmember on the chassis. They have their place but I wouldn’t fit them again. The other thing that no one takes about is they limit the up travel of your suspension as the coils on your main spring can’t move around the top hats very easily. maxtraction(I think) usedto make extremely long progressive coil springs which worked but we’re apparently undrivable on the road… not seen it my self but just what I heard. There’s that full flex springs place that can make any spring you want so there’s an option if you wanted to go that way I’ve always found dislocation ok. As Ross says there will be an ammount of force from the opposite wheel going up transmitted to the light wheel going down, when it gets too light is where the lockers pay for themselves.
