nickwilliams
I have a Series II and a Series IIa to re-build (with help from my son) over the next few months. New galvanised chassis and bulkheads for both arrived from Shielder on Thursday last week - I'll report on quality when I have a chance to look at them properly in the next few days. First impression is that they are very shiny! I'm going to want to get a variety of bits and pieces galvanised so could do with recommendations for companies who are known to do a good job. I'm not far from Buxton so ideally places north of Birmingham and south of Hull would be useful. Thanks Nick.
landroversforever
I know its miles away from you, but I've had loads of brackets and bits done by Wessex Galvanising in Eastleigh. They're part of Wedge group who have plants all over the shop. They were also really helpful when I had some questions.
Peaklander
Nick, there's a place in Worksop. I'll get the details...and post back on here. I haven't used any of these. the last I used in Rotherham has since closed. This is Worksop https://www.wedge-galv.co.uk/plant-locator/worksop-galvanizing-ltd/ but there's one coming-up in Rotherham - http://ysgl.co.uk/index.html and this in Stoke - http://stokegalvanising.co.uk Edited November 8, 2020 by Peaklander Added URLs

bishbosh
Frankly, I doubt you'll get a bad job from any galvanizers - it isn't a business any tin pot cowboy can set up - takes huge investment and needs a big client base to survive. So I'd just find your nearest one (check out the galvanizer's association's website) and go for it.
