Bowie69 Posted October 20, 2021 Share Posted October 20, 2021 Also to mention, if that is the MOD recon engine, it's possible there are all sorts of waxes from overspray on the engine to prevent corrosion. Will try again My go-to degreaser is paraffin or petrol sprayed on, brushed in at he corners and crannies and then blasted off with the pressure washer or hosed off if that gives you the shivers. May need a repeat to be sure. Keying is a scourer pad or Scotchbrite to dull the glaze of the old paint and then paint away. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
