RPR Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 You could use a lateral spring mounted to the center of the axle - like they are on those bloody great trucks (Scammel I think) You'd have to find another way to locate the axles fore and aft and the idea strikes me as rather daft, but you could do it.... Good idea RPR, actually Henry Ford thought of that almost 100 years ago..... on the Model "T" When i was a boy my Dad had a Model "T" reserved for "winter use" only With narrow, tall tires and a set of chains it was a "winner Not sure about articulation.................
