Probably so that the new wheel studs are close to the original ones coming from the hub. If the new wheel studs were in the middle of two of the old studs, there might be a greater chance of flex? gav- Posted October 4, 2007 Share Posted October 4, 2007 i brought mine, a set of 4 steel ones, from kenson 4x4 ( i think thats the name) believe they supply Qt, although not 100%. they cost 180 delievered. look good and no issue with them on the road. delivery was damn quick as well. nicks90 Posted October 12, 2007 Share Posted October 12, 2007 no idea if they are legal in oz - but in the UK you are excluded from MSA events if you have spacers.... not sure why peeps want spacers, when £200 will get you nice offset rims instead.
