Peter
Anyone got an imperial tool set nearby ? Need to undo a nut on a 8274 solenoid pack, its not 10mm too big and its not 9mm as slightly too small.

101sean
Someone has never worked on a mid to late 70's landie them . My 101 has a mixture of metric and imperial (steering box has Whitworth). I can usually tell by sight what will fit, once over 1/2"/13mm either are closeish fit, below you need right size spanner. Having said that though, I got caught out replacing the fairlead on my M8000 on the 110, tried to replace the rusty bolts with metric and wondered why they wouldn't go in. Took a while to register that the damn colonials who made it still work in imperial
paintman
And some of the small bolts on alternators aren't in whole mm, they have to go one better & be something and a half mm! (Can't remember the exact size) As I found when I had to go & buy one to swap a regulator on an A127.
