Bigwood
a load of bllks It may look ok on a Punto or some other powered roller skate but we have proper engines in our trucks.
smo
wouldnt even work on a lawnmower, forget it....why do you think REAL superchargers are belt/crank driven striaght from the engine.

FridgeFreezer
Proper superchargers draw serious power, around 10% of the engine's overall output if not higher, hence the chuffing fat belt drive. If you do the maths you'll see you'd need the motor from a Prius to achieve any sort of usable boost. Plus the batteries and alternator to go with. disco_al
you'd need the motor from a Prius to achieve any sort of usable boost so there is a usse for them after all!!! and there is plenty of room in the back of a landy to put the batteries.... mike4444244
you've got to admire the cheek 'approximately' 20Hp more ie no guarantee claims, you'd probably get them same power gain and better filtering if you removed your filter altogether mike
q-rover
You wouldn't actually A guy over on RangeRovers.net did some dyno tests with various filters and no filter. I think the max variation was about 1.8hp. And that on a 4.6V8
