FridgeFreezer
A lot of people use old industrial conveyor belting, tough stuff and can be acquired for no money.
rtbarton
Or how about cutting a section out of one of those big blue barrels you see used as water butts?

roguevogue
Nick, hi, I bought some industrial squeegee rubber from a guy at Sodbury, great stuff, easier to cut than conveyor and supports itself better too, it's the stuff they make rally car mud flaps out of. Bit limited on the colour and thickness, the dark red that I used on the front of mine is about 6mm thick, the green on the back is a bout 10mm thick, there are other colours/thicknesses. I have the number for the geezer if you PM me, he is able to deal by post, really nice bloke.
